The bad news seems to be that this provides TRW with a healthy amount
of information with which to *start* your credit report if you're
lucky enough to be absent from their database at the moment.

Social security numbers get bandied about like telephone numbers these
days, but it's really not a piece of information you want anyone else
to have. There are an amazing number of people out there who are only
too happy to assume that someone that can recite your SSN is "you".

No offense to Jon for posting the info, of course ;-)
