Corporations Ate My Cat |
This all started many years ago (looks like '92, from the archive dates) as a thread on a usenet group. To try and bring the singal out of the noise, I fired up a mailing list for just the thread. As I've moved, this list has been suspended and revived a few times; now that I've got my own domain and a decent net connection, it's back. I wonder how many of the nine lives we've already used up?
The discussions are generally about such things as avoiding the rat race, not destroying the Earth, getting along with people, good music, intentional communities, travel reports, technology for Good rather than Evil, book reviews, or maybe just whining and moaning to let off steam.
I have an archive of old posts to the list. If you have any recommendations about what package I should use to automate the archiving, please send them to me.
I wrote a layman's overview of the list for the Autodidatc's Journal.
