Between welcoming new teammates, discussions with prospects, Hacker Summer Camp prep, and continuing to build the most comprehensive Security Data ETL product, this past month has FLOWN by. It's an amazing time to be at Monad!

We've recently brought on three world-class engineers to help support our mission of making security more data-driven. Andrew, Cameron, and Brent all have extensive experience helping startups scale zero to one and have already been having major impact in our day-to-day.

We pride ourselves on our people and the amazing work they do. We could not be more excited for the future! 🙌🏽

Hacker Summer Camp ⛺

Hacker Summer Camp is next week. It's a week where security professionals from all corners of the globe descend on Las Vegas, NV for a week of conferences including BlackHat, DEF CON, BSides LV and the Diana Initiative.

Our co-founder and CEO, Christian, and I will be there throughout the week and have planned an impromptu meetup @ Seabreeze Cafe at 3pm - 430pm PT on Wednesday, Aug. 7th. No frills or Deadmau5 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Just a time for us to get together with our community IRL. Come join us!

If you're unable to join us then, we'll also be at the Blackhat Innovators & Investors summit on the 6th as well as the BSides Security Data Science meetup.

Incident response with Amazon Security Lake

Our partners on the Amazon Security Lake (ASL) team have been hard at work continuously iterating and building a world-class security lake offering. In Part II of their "Accelerate incident response with Amazon Security Lake", they cover how teams can leverage ASL and other AWS services to streamline phases 2 and 3 of the NIST Incident Handling Guide (SP 800-61).  

In typical AWS fashion, the post walks you through in-depth, technical examples making it a great guide if your team has adopted ASL or is thinking about it.
